It functions as a light-weight audio device with its compact design and convenient travel case and 15 hours of battery to keep the conversation alive. In the workplace – mobility is becoming more important in order to attract and offer employees the possibility of working from anywhere to enable a better work/life balance. This generation of employees defined as Generation Mobile has grown up with Internet access, social networks, mobile phones and the “always on” lifestyle. Generation Mobile is profoundly changing the way the world communicates and interacts at work and the devices that support the increased request for more mobility are in high demand
Ralph Ede, Managing Director – South Asia, Jabra said, “Jabra SPEAK™ 510 speakerphone Jabra targets the mobile worker to a further extent than ever before. Featuring Bluetooth technology the Jabra SPEAK 510 enables even more user flexibility and meets increased demands for mobility, at home, in the workplace or on the go. It optimizes the productivity by intuitively enabling one-to-one and smaller group conference calls at any time and in any place.”
According to recent study by Strategy Analytics Mobile Workforce Strategies (MWS) ,“Emerging Market Enterprise Survey 2012- The State of Enterprise Mobility in Brazil, China and India,” the survey undertaken shows there are now far more companies now in India that are open to the mobile workforce, and the trends indicate that more companies are investing in mobile devices and solutions to enable productivity and efficiency of their potential workforce.
“Companies in emerging markets, notably India, are facing increasingly mobile workforces, with between 70 to 80 percent of workers spending at least some portion of their time working out of the office. These companies are also investing in mobile devices that will enable the growing numbers of mobile workers to interact with customers, employees, and other businesses in real time, anytime and from any location. India has vast numbers of SMBs willing to spend to better leverage the capabilities of new devices and solutions,” said Mr. Ede.
With its Bluetooth technology, the Jabra SPEAK 510 becomes 100 percent wireless enabling the user to connect to any Bluetooth enabled device, which adds to the convenience of increased flexibility and connectivity via mobile- and smart phones, tablets, laptops and headsets – at the office, at home and on the go. SPEAK 510 offers wireless connection to PC, tablets and Bluetooth enabled mobile phones and headsets giving enhanced mobility with up to 100 meter range for Class 1 supported devices.
With the increased mobility of the global workforce and the increased flexibility of the average workers workday, the Jabra SPEAK 510 is thought to be the natural next step from the superior test-winning Jabra SPEAK™ 410 that won best in test in a 2011 Sound & Design survey.
